Cakes and Candles in Flint’s home

Today is Flint-the monkey's Birthday. There was a hustle and bustle in the whole house. The room was well decorated with flowers, birthday bounting, balloons and fairy lights.

In the middle of the room a table was covered with bright yellow table cloth. On the table was a big three tier stand with cup cakes neatly arranged, a plate full of chocolates and lollipops. Today, Flint’s house seemed to be filled with loads of Happiness.

Flint’s friends Mary rabbit, Jumbo elephant, Red Rooster, Alwin Squirrel and Puss cat were sitting on their seats, each carrying a gift for Flint.

On the other side of the room, Flint’s mom prepared a big table full of delicious and yummy dishes for the guests. Everyone in the room was waiting for Flint to cut the cake. 

As a surprise, Flint’s dad brought a big hot air balloon to home. There was a small basket under the balloon with a gas engine, out of which the flame came. Flint’s dad tied the hot air balloon on the roof top so that it won’t fly away.

In the meantime, Flint, out of curiosity climbed the roof and sat inside the hot air balloon’s basket and also untied the rope. The Balloon slowly started to lift up and fly. Scared Flint started shouting “Help! Help! Save me!”

Hearing Flint’s shout, all the friends and family ran to the roof to check what happened to Flint. They all saw that Poor Flint was flying up, up, up in the air and shouting for help. They were all stunned not sure about what to do or how to save him.

Someone came to rescue.

Mighty, the eagle was flying in the sky. When he saw all his friends standing on the roof of house, he stopped by and asked “Guys! Why are you all standing here and look really panic? What happened?

Alwin squirrel worriedly “Mighty, our friend Flint is flying in that hot air balloon; we don’t know how to save him and today is his Birthday. Can you help him? Pleasseeeeeeee….”

Flint’s Mom and Dad started weeping and asked for Mighty’s help.

Mighty with the super hero look, turned to Flint’s parents and said “Mighty is here to rescue”, and he started to fly.

He flew fast chasing the hot air balloon in the midst of thick clouds and finally caught Flint’s sight. Mighty flew near him and said “come on, get out of the basket and hold my legs, I can carry you back to your home”.

Flint did as Mighty instructed and he dropped him in his home.

The parent’s happiness was immeasurable seeing Flint again. His Friends hugged him. Flint’s parents thanked Mighty for saving their son’s life.

They all had a wonderful time together and celebrated Flint’s birthday by cutting the cake and stuffing it into their big mouth.

Flint’s birthday turned out to be a memorable one.

Moral: Sometimes help will come from unexpected ones. Always be Grateful and have Gratitude.
