Lamborghini- A car story

In Italy, there was a boy named Ferru. He likes to work with all the mechanical stuff like nuts, bolts, cars and its engine. His father was a farmer to harvested grapes and sent it to wine making factories.  Ferru’s father was surprised to see his boy playing and doing things with the mechanical parts instead of having interest towards farming like him.

Ferru’s father made Ferru to join in a mechanical course after he completed his schooling. His father advised him that “you like to work with engines and other mechanical parts so I made you to join in this course. But once after proving your talent in this stream, if you feel bored then you should come back and start farming. Farming is different job and it gives you satisfaction of work as it did to me”. Ferru promised is father that he will do so.

As his father thought Ferru was a genius in mechanics. Hence the Italian Airforce gave him a job in the engineering works with aircrafts. He was an expert in work he did. But there was a twist that happened in his life. There was a war in his country. The British people arrested the entire Italina airforce workers and put them in prison. Ferru was also arrested because he was working for Italina Airforce. When all the prisoners in the prison lost hope, Ferru was the only person finding hope that one day he will be released and start a new life.

Ferru asked the Prison Head to give him some broken engines or vehicles that to need be fixed in their campus. They brought him some damaged war jeeps and motorcycles. To their surprise Ferru fixed it and all the vehicles worked well. After years passed, Ferru was released from prison.

He wanted to start a new life but none gave him a job for living. Ferru went back to his village and started working with tractors. He built new tractors and sold it and in less time he became very rich. Rich Ferru started buying the different sport car every week. He bought Maserati, Benz, Jaguar and the list was very long. But he was not satisfied even though he was rich. Later he bought a Fiat car and started remodeling it and turned it into a sports car. Ferru took that remodeled Fiat car into a sports car and took it for an open road motorsport drive of 1100kms.

One day, among the other cars he owned, one more new car was added to the list it was none other than the great Ferrari 250GT. Ferru drove Ferrari and he found out there was techanical mistakes and poorly built interior in the car. Ferru approached the Ferrari car’s boss but he insulted Ferru saying that you would have driven the car like a Tractor. Because you are tractor maker and coming from a farmer’s family”, insulted him and sent him away. And also Ferrari’s boss cancelled the supply of tractor’s wheels for Ferru Company.

Ferru was completely depressed. Then there came the winning spirit in Ferru that he should beat Ferrari and build a best car in the world. Ferru employed two best mechanics and Ferru himself put a lot of hard work and built a new car after five long year’s complete involvement. The car was named Lamborghini 350GT. That car was a big success in the market. Ferru became the richest person in the world.

Kids story

For 11 years he made the Lamborghini Company big and successful. Ferru sold his company to another person. He went back to his own village and started doing agriculture. When people asked him why did you come back to village? Ferru said happily that “I am satisfied and happy now and as my father asked, now I’ am back to farming”. He smiled.

Ferru is the most famous Ferruccio Lamborghini from Italy. The founder of Lamborghini cars. Yes, this is the story of Lamborghini.

The Pan and the Potatoes By Kirsi Kunnas

Phew! I’m sweating and steaming I feel like screaming I’m bubbling and seething I’m rattling like tea-things The pan said took his hat off his head and Phew! I’m absolutely boiling I’m bristling and whistling and hustling and moiling And all hot and sizzling It’s a mad mad bustle The pan said took its hat off its head and Phew! Ouch this hoppity, hoppity, hoppity Shouted the potatoes, popping up fit to split No way of stopping it, dropping it, swapping it dancing a polka, have to, dance, dancing a polka Got to go higher now, shoes are on fire now Galloping, galloping, off at a lollop Jumping and jumping and off at a wallop Turning and thumping, thumping and turning Oh this knocking and bumping and socking Off again copping it, hopping it, whopping it makes me split No way of stopping it!   This poem sings about how the potatoes are feeling when they are boiled in a pan. The potatoes say that they are very angry and wanted to scream becaus...
