Meow Meow Kittens

Buttercup had a pet named Luna, the girly cat. Luna looks just the same like Toodles Galore (Tom’s Girlfriend in Tom & Jerry). Luna was beautiful, stylish and had a big blue bow tied to her neck. Buttercup loves Luna. Luna had 7 little kittens. One was striped like a tiger, one was curly and soft like a cotton ball, two were in the color of smoke and other three got spots on its body.

In the home, there were totally 8 cats. Like our parents, Buttercup’s parents didn’t agree to pet all the 8 cats. Buttercup’s father said “Butter, we don’t have space for all these kittens. You keep Luna and a kitten as your pet and give away the rest”.

Buttercup was sad. But she understood what her father meant. So she took one spotty kitten and kept it for herself. And got ready with a kid’s wagon and slowly placed the 6 little kittens inside it and pulled the handle bar starting the quest in finding a new place for the kittens.

While walking, she saw Ms. Anita, her neighbor was watering the garden. Anita smiled and asked Butter “What’s in your wagon?”

Butter replied I have 6 cute little kittens. Do you want one?

Ms. Anita checked inside the wagon and took the grey smokey mushy kitten. She asked Butter to hold on for a minute. She went inside and brought a gold fish in a glass bowl. In exchange of pets, Ms. Anita asked Butter to take the fish. Butter carefully placed the glass bowl inside the wagon and started to walk.

On the next stop she meets Ms. Anny, a quiet lady, who was sitting on a rocking chair and doing embroidery. Butter called and said “Hi Ms. Anny, I have some nice kittens that are very quiet. Do you want any?” Ms. Anny came out of the porch and saw the kittens. She took one spotty kitten and gave Buttercup, a golden cage with a parrot. Ms.Anny added “This parrot chatters, whistles and sings some songs”. Buttercup liked the parrot. She took the cage and put it in the wagon, thanked Ms. Anny and started to walk.

Her third stop was Mill’s cheese shop. Mill looked worried and was arranging the cheese stocks in the display. Butter asked him, the reason behind his worried face. Mill said that the mice bite all the cheese and he cannot sell good cheese to his customers. Buttercup had a solution for Mill’s problem in her wagon. She gave him two little kittens and said “these kittens will grow up into cats and catch the mice and you will be trouble free”. Mill smiled and in exchange, he gave her a brown silky fur puppy. The puppy licked Butter’s face. Butter loved the pup. She put the pup in her wagon and started to walk.

On the way, Buttercup saw Mc Donald hammering a nail on his hen pen. He looked tired and sleepy. He got eye bags caused by less sleep or no sleep. Butter asked him why he looked tired.

Donald answered “I have a black rooster in the pen. Every morning very early he crows and wakes me up. I am thinking of making a rooster soup. What do you say Butter??”.

Butter said “No, Mr. Donald. You can give me the rooster and I keep him in my home. In exchange, can you please take one of my kitten?”.

Mc Donald peeped into the wagon and picked a kitten and said “This will be a perfect gift for my little daughter Alexa”. He put the rooster in a crate and kept it in Buttercup’s wagon.

Now Buttercup has a gold fish in a glass bowl, a golden cage with a green parrot, a brown pup in a box, a black rooster in a crate and a lovely little kitten.

On the way back home, she saw Jadon crying. Jadon is just 5 year old toddler. Buttercup asked his mom the reason, she said “Yesterday I took him to the circus, Jadon loved the tigers and now he wants one as his pet. I bought him a chameleon but he still wants to pet a tiger” Jadon’s mom said worriedly.

Buttercup grinned and said “I have a cute yellowish kitten with black stripes that looks just like a tiger. Maybe Jadon would like it”. Buttercup took the kitten and put it on Jadon’s lap. He stopped crying.

Jadon smiled and said “T I G E R”.

In exchange, Jadon’s mom gave the chameleon in a bottle, as Jadon doesn’t want. Buttercup smiled and got the chameleon from her and kept it in the wagon.

Buttercup came back home with the wagon full of new pets and shouted “Hey Dad and Mom I found a home for every single kitten! I hope you are happy now!”

A big shock was waiting for Buttercup’s parents. He…he…he…

Moral: Kids will always be Kids.

Goldy, a Friendly Fish

Nagapattnam, a place in Tamil Nadu is a coastal area. Most people do fishing for their survival. Early morning, fishermen get ready with their fishing rod, big wired nets, baskets, and other accessories which are needed for fishing. They also pack some food and drinking water as they don’t know when they will be back to home. In a small village in Nagapattam, there lived a fisherman named Mattu. Mattu was a tall, strong and dark man with short curly hair. He wears colorful dhoti and a white vest with a munda (a piece of cloth) tied as a turban to his head. By 3.00 am, he packed his things and left for fishing in deep sea. That day, the sea was very violent and stormy. Big waves raised up the yatch. His yatch was almost about to drown. He shouted for help, being in the middle of the sea. None could hear him in that strong wind. Mattu’s Yatch drowned. He held a piece of wood from the yatch and was floating. Back in the village, Liloo, Mattu’s daughter was worried that her father

Save every drop of water

It was a bright sunny morning. Golu woke up and stretched his hands with a slow “…yaaaahh….”. He got up from his bed and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Without turning off the water tap, he was brushing his teeth for a long time and emptied the whole water tank in his house. When he was about to wash his mouth and brush he found that no water came from the tap. He tapped the tap’s top and turned the value from left to right and right to left. He was confused “I saw the water  coming a minute back, now what happened??” he thought scratching his head. He called his Grandfather “Grandpa! Grandpa! Please come here!” Golu’s grandfather hurriedly came to Golu’s room. He thought Golu  is  in trouble. Golu: “Grandpa, I was brushing my teeth and there is no water coming out of this tap. Is there a mistake with the tap?? Please check Grandpa” Grandfather thoroughly inspected the tap. The tap was perfect. He checked the water line pipes for leakage. It was good and in working
