The day before Easter, all the animals in the forest gathered together near a green meadow to discuss about the Easter day celebration. The celebration starts when the children in the village find their hidden Easter eggs. Bear, frog, mole, giraffe, fox, turtle and others were so excited.

Bear asked, “At what time we should meet in this same place tomorrow?”

Fox replied, “By 11 in the morning. I will arrange the refreshments for us”

As they were all discussing Fox checked the group and he found that one important person is missing. The Fox asked “Where is Easter Bunny?? He is must be here when we discuss our plans for Easter”

All the animals started searching for Easter Bunny. Bear and Fox looked behind every tree in the forest. Mole searched in every underground hole. Turtle and frog searched in and around the lakes. But they couldn’t find him.

Mole asked Fox, “How can we celebrate Easter without him because he should deliver the Easter eggs to the children in the village”

There was a bit confusion going on among the group as who will deliver the Easter eggs quickly and on time.

Fox said “I can take up the Easter bunny’s responsibility to deliver Easter eggs because I can run fast and hide the eggs faster. I wanted to show you all how I can run. Wait and watch”

Fox wore bunny ears head band and carried a basket of Easter eggs and ran. He ran too fastly that many eggs fell from his basket and broke.

Frog called Fox and said “You are like flash. Way too fast. Look what you have done. You dropped many eggs and it’s all broken. I think I should be the Easter bunny. I can hippity hop and deliver the Easter eggs to the children”.

Frog got the basket from Fox and started to hop. When he did, some of the eggs from the basket fell off and broke.

Bear stopped the frog and said “Froggy, I think you are not the right person too. See you have also broken some eggs. In your next hop you will definitely crack all the eggs in the basket”

“I should be the Easter bunny and I know the perfect place to hide the Easter eggs” said the furry little mole.

“Booooooooooooo” the animals shouted.

“Maybe I should be the Easter Bunny” said the Bear.

“I could easily carry the basket with dozens of eggs and hide the eggs safely in the children’s backyard” Bear added.

He got the basket from frog and started walking through the dense forest. The basket wobbled and hit every tree he crossed. The eggs cracked inside the basket.

“My bad….” worriedly said the bear.

Turtle looked at other animals and said “I am your last option. I can do this Easter bunny duty perfectly”.

Turtle put the basket of eggs on his shell and tied it with a rope to his body. He slowly started to walk when he reached the first kid’s home, 30 minutes went off.

Fox said “Dear turtle, it took thirty minutes to reach the first hiding spot, by the time you finish it will be Christmas”.

All the animals were so worried and started to fight among themselves. They don’t know who will do the job of delivering eggs correctly and perfectly like Easter Bunny.

Meanwhile they heard a voice “Hi guys!!”

It was Easter bunny carrying his America tourister backpack and trolley bag.

Bunny asked “What’s all this fight about?? Did I miss something??”

Other animals quietly said “No. All fine”.

Bear said “Huh…we are happy to see you! We searched for you. Where have you been all this time?”

“I was on vacation. I went to Europe, then Paris, Venice and many more places. It was Magnificent!” answered Bunny.

Bunny kept his luggage aside and started filling the basket with Easter eggs.

He said to other animals, “I have lot of works to do for Easter. Let me start right away. Bye Guys! See you tomorrow. Happy Easter!”

Hippity hop he hopped and went.

Moral: Always be the right person for the right job at the right time. Remember time is always right.
